Welcome, and thank you for visiting our website! For over 41 years, the Bud's Team has been committed to building a dealership that keeps customers coming back. We've delivered vehicles to nearly every state in the country, and many of our long-distance customers return again and again. People often ask, “Why would someone travel all the way to St. Marys, Ohio, to buy a vehicle?” The answer is simple: we treat every customer the way we’d want to be treated.

Bud’s began in September 1983 in St. Marys, Ohio when local native Bud Schoenleben opened a Chevrolet-Oldsmobile-Buick dealership. In 2005, Bud's expanded with the addition of our Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep-RAM store in Celina, OH. What started as Bud’s dream has grown into a trusted, family-owned dealership known for a welcoming atmosphere and a genuine commitment to helping each customer find the right vehicle.

In 2008, Bud retired and entrusted the business to his son-in-law, Brian Holstad. Brian joined Buds in 2002 and worked his way through the dealership, gaining hands-on experience as a service writer, parts counter associate, and salesman to fully understand the business. His dedication to customers and the legacy Bud built continues to guide the store’s success today. Even in retirement, Bud remains a familiar face, still sharing his wisdom and passion for the automotive world.

Brian, his wife Kassie, and their three children reside in Celina, reinforcing their ongoing commitment to the local communities they serve.

Over the decades, Buds Chevrolet Inc. has become especially known for its love of performance and its deep-rooted passion for Corvettes. That enthusiasm fuels one of the area’s most anticipated events—the annual Corvette Cruise-In, held every May. This year marked the 35th anniversary of the event, drawing Corvette fans from across the region to celebrate the thrill and legacy of America’s sports car.
